  1. FIVE BITES DIET PLAN

The diet has been described as ‘mental gastric bypass surgery’. Obese people can get their stomachs stapled so that they feel full on only a few bites of each meal. This diet, therefore, takes a fair bit of self-control, the first 3 days were the hardest for me, it then got quite a bit easier.
The creator of the diet suggests 5 bites of each meal, but I have made it 3 bites because this is closer to how much a gastric bypass patient can usually eat.

Breakfast
3 bites of porridge (oatmeal) made with skimmed milk and 1 tsp sugar

Lunch
3 bites of ham sandwich

Dinner
3 bites of lasagne

It’s important that drinks are consumed that have no calories. Such as diet coke, water, herbal teas, tea or coffee.
Master Cleanse Fast
Recipe
#1 (single serving):
– 2 Tbsp Lemon (approx ½ of a Lemon)
– 2 Tbsp Genuine Organic Maple Syrup
– 1/10 Tsp Cayenne pepper
– Ten oz. a glass of hot water (cold can be used if preferred)

#2 (60 oz. daily serving):
– 60 oz. water
– 12 Tbsp organic Maple syrup (Grade B)
– 12 Tbsp lemon juice
– ½ Tsp Cayenne Pepper

There are a couple important things to remember when using these recipes. For one, the lemon juice used must be fresh squeezed. This cannot be emphasized enough. It is necessary to use fresh produce. Canned juice won’t work and will erase most of the benefits of using this diet. Also, the maple syrup must be organic, Grade B maple syrup, not the sugar filled syrup that is used at the breakfast table.

 

 

  1. SUPER REDUCTION OATMEAL DIET

Breakfast:
One packet instant oatmeal, any flavor (120-160 cals)
total: 120-160 calories, 2-4 gms fat

Lunch:
Diet soda (0 cals)
total: 0 cals, 0 gms fat

Dinner:
Tea w/ no-cal sweetener (<5 cals)
total: <5 calories, 0 gms fat

total: 120-165 calories, 2-4 gms fat

When I make the oatmeal I cook it with water and only use original, so that breakfast is only 98 calories.
2468 Diet †

There are many variations on this.

Day #1 – Eat a maximum of 200 calories
Day #2 – Eat a maximum of 400 calories
Day #3 – Eat a maximum of 600 calories
Day #4 – Eat a maximum of 800 calories
Day #5 – FAST

This is the diet of Olympic silver medalist Irina Tschachina ( 5″6 and weighs only 99lbs!) it was such a success for her now many other Russian Gymnasts are following this diet.

Breakfast:
Glass of either orange or apple juice

Lunch:
Fruit Salad (made off kiwi fruit, orange, pineapple, and peeled apples)
Glass of fruit juice (from one of the above fruits)

Dinner:
Glass of non carbonated water*
Green apple

Anyone on this diet for 5-7 days can loose between 4 lbs-11 lbs
*non-carbonated means non-fizzy, so normal water.

 

 

  1. THE MARYA HORNBACHER DIET

Breakfast:
1 grapefruit ( 100 cals)
total: 100 calories, 0 gms fat

Lunch:
2 fat-free pretzels from a bag ( 20 cals) 4 carrot sticks, ( 12 cals) 4 celery sticks ( 5 cals) 3 tsp mustard (5 cals)
total: 42 calories, 0 gms fat

Dinner:
½ cup fat-free, sugar-free yogurt ( 60cals)
total: 60 calories, 0 gms fat

total: 202 calories, 0 gms fat

Okay, well this is my twist on the atkins diet. With atkins you can hardly eat any carbs, but may gorge on protein and fats. Well, my view is that you shouldn’t gorge on anything and that you should eat little snacks throughout the day.

3 egg white omelette, cooked with 2 sprays of cooking spray

Snack
White fish fillet oven baked in foil with 5g butter

Lunch
Roast Chicken Drumstick with 1 cup of salad leaves

Snack
50g of prawns cooked in garlic and chilli and 2 sprays of cooking spray

Dinner
Grilled Sirloin Steak with 1 cup of salad leaves

You’ll drop weight pretty fast on this and by day 3 ketones will be circulating in your blood and so your appetite will really diminish.

 

 

  1. THE BABY FOOD DIET

This is where you get to eat baby food to lose weight. Try to stick to organic baby food (move vitamins) and eat more vegetable-based ones than fruit based. If you’re in the UK, I recommend HiPP organic. Get the 80g jars that are used for weaning babies.

Apple and Banana Puree

Lunch
Vegetable and Lentil Bake

Dinner
Succulent Tomato and Chicken Ragout

Alternatively you could substitute lunch and dinner for baby food and just eat a normal breakfast.

 

 

  1. SPECIAL K PLUS CHALLENGE DIET

This is advertised by Kellogs Special K Cereal. I’ve ana-fied it a little. This will be excellent for metabolism, due to the frequency of eating. The mix of milk and water is just so people don’t think you’re crazy if you just use water (due to its low calories). Oh and I’ve noticed that skinny people don’t drink the leftover milk in their cereal bowl. Just a thought.

You could use any cereal, I recommend
* Weetabix
* Bran Flakes
But check the calories in the snack bar you use.

Breakfast
100g of special K with 100ml of skimmed milk and 100ml of water

Snack
1/2 Special K Snack Bar

Lunch
75g of special K with 100ml of skimmed milk and 100ml of water

Snack
1/2 Special K Snack Bar

Dinner
50g of special K with 100ml of skimmed milk and 100ml of water

 

 

  1. THE SKINNY ARSE DIET

This is tried and tested with me! I created this from scratch, although completely accidentally! It all started when I got ‘the sims’ for the computer. I was so excited I played it nearly 2 days straight and lost 14 lbs (1 stone!) in a week. I was overweight at the time, but it still amazes me that this works so well. Your appetite vanishes and for me this was completely effortless.

Recipe
1 teabag
1 slice of lemon
1 tsp of sugar
250ml of hot water.

  1. Brew the teabag in the hot water for 3-5 minutes.
    2. Discard teabag. (I often leave it in though, because I prefer strong tea).
    3. Add a level teaspoon of sugar. Stir.
    4. Add the slice of lemon. (You can also use bottled lemon juice but make sure its natural strength).
    5. Let the tea rest for 2 minutes.
    6. Drink up!

All day drink as much as you want, particularly when you’re hungry. Try to drink at least one cup three times a day.

You may already have ‘distractions’, but for this diet, find a bloody good one!

My suggestions…
* A really good computer/ps/wii game, preferably one that you play that has its own imaginary time
* A good long book (depending on taste ‘War and Peace’ or ‘Harry Potter’
* A movie marathon or tv series marathon
* Clean the house from top to bottom!

The other important thing about this diet is try not to think about eating, don’t observe meal times, just get engrossed in your chosen subject.

        1. Have you tried veganism? I have been doing it for about two years now and if you really commit it helps to prevent you from eating a lot of high fat and high calorie foods. I have been in college for a few months and while I am still vegan it has been hard to eat as healthy. If anyone has good health tips for someone in school lmk:) In the mean while I have great tricks for someone who cooks at home! in high school I was healthy but still managed to stay thin when I was at my most dedicated points!

          1. If you lose much weight within a small amount of time, it’s probably just water and not fat (due to water retention), it is not sustainable, and it is not good for your body. It has to be a long term diet. You cannot lose weight sustainably in 1 week (and I doubt about 1 month).

    1. It works particularly well, but it causes MAJOR health issues. I had to get surgery to get strings of cotton removed from my intestines. VERY PAINFUL

      1. Yes indeed. The cotton ball diet is an unnatural method to achieve the desired results. This can be fatal and cause serious health hazards which is very much similar to phytobezoar. This requires hospitalization and treatments. Thus putting all the Ana related hard work at stake in order to fetch quick results in an unnatural way shall always put you at loss.

      1. I don’t believe in the use of rubber band. Even if you pluck it, to stop the cravings, you need an unaltered temperament along with persistence. Instead of punishing yourself why don’t you try satisfying the satiety by drinking a glass full of water each time you crave. And if that doesn’t work, an apple or an orange can always work. But I believe that the glass full of water shall do it.

        1. Fats ( good healthy fats ) are the best things to stop cravings, especially carbohydrate cravings !!!!! They help the body to lose weight by working with the hormones. If hungry, 1 tsp of coconut oil will truly satisfy, help the metabolism stay strong and fast. Fats are also needed by the brain and the heart.
          This will not cause you to gain weight.
          The stuff about calories is not accurate. It matters more what you eat. healthy fats, small amounts of good protein and tons of vegetables gives you good nutrition which is especially important if you want slash your food intake to be very slender. Health matters ! Otherwise, life is no fun.

    1. in order to prevent the midnight crisis with all the cravings make sure that you eat something proteinaceous before going to sleep. in case cravings pertain, drink water slowly and calmly (about 2 glasses). this fills up your tummy and can quickly calm your satiety centers. to hold upon the emotional end and keeping the head straiht, there is always thinspiration to look upto. a little motivation is always helpful at the time of exigency related cravings.

    Since my scale broke, I’ve been having a breakfast/lunch of a fruit smoothie (1 cup frozen berries/cherries, 1\2 cup fat-free yogurt, 1/2 cup coffee) and grazing as little as I can the rest of the day, but it’s tough.

  4. I used to be anorexic but after many years I ended up swinging in the opposite direction by binge eating to the point of a B.E.D. I am desperate to get back to where I was. As of right now I ride my bike 11.8 miles in the morning (burning 420 calories) then I have a shake (1/3c plain Greek yogurt, 1/3c frozen berries, 1/3c 2% milk and 1/3 ripe banana). For lunch I’m eating 1 cup chicken broth followed by a small dinner (baked chicken and small salad). If I can control the frantic binge eating, will this get me thin again?

    1. Lettuce and water? How could you possibly live a happy life eating like that everyday for the rest of your life? You’ll lose hair in chunks like I did when I went vegetarian and didn’t bother to think about replacing the protein I lost. When you get your head out of the need to eat less, you come to realise what most people know:good skin, lovely eyes, thick eyelashes, a bright white smile, beautiful hair, an ability to work through problems with sheer will and intelligence, a nice smell, consistent kindness, or strong and straight posture (any one of the above), improves one’s appearance far more than loosing 25 lbs. Take up knitting or chess or art or volunteering or a new musical instrument to feel more confident in who you are and the abilities your body possesses.

I was in the best shape of my life!! And then I got pregnant for a second time (10 years apart) and I just fatted up. I’m still so fat-nothing I do works..       1. Hi -Heather tbh I used a restrictive plan for about a year. Yes i did loose weight which was great but now on the other side I have lost so many oppurtunities and have become incredibly self-obsessed. If you have had a baby your calorie requirements are so high dont worry about it! Maybe count calories but aim for a lot more for your own childs sake!

My highest is 125 ( while that may seem low, I am only 5 ft or 152.4 cm so its high for my size) I got to about 98 until my parents freaked out.     1. Well! You already know where you have been lacking, which means your problem is diagnosed by you yourself. All that you need to do is start working on it.
      Start at the point which feels legit and is quite feasible for you.
      Get yourself a chart, white board, or any blank piece of paper. Now jot down all the efforts that you that you have made so far throughout the day. And allow yourselves the leisure’s only when you have enough targets achieved on the piece of paper. But jot the task only after it has been accomplished. Your accomplishments will automatically motivate you to work better each time.

    1. Feeling fat and ugly is something which can be directly associated with kind of physique you currently possess. So here we need to mitigate all the factors which are leading to the feelings related poor self-image.
      Your goal should be pretty much clear to you, which is not 95. But to improve each day. Start with the diet plan, not changing all of a sudden as it might as well be stressful for you, but to introduce small sustainable changes every day. Monitor your carb intake and get rid of what is causing your body to expand. That’s one part of story, which will dismissing any chances of further additions in weight. The other half is to get liberated of what is already there. Start with the workout regimes mentioned. Improve each day, and keep the charts rising.
      Here is the trick, start providing yourself rewards (youtube, facebook, instagram) only by fulfilling your targets of the day.
      I hope this works for you.

I’ve been drinking fruit smoothies with 1/2 cup fat free yogurt 1/2 cup mixed berries 1/3 of a banana and 1/2 cup oj and that fills me up fairly quickly and I usually don’t need to eat again until the evening and then only a little. It keeps the calories at about 650 a day. I also go running in the mornings but that’s just something I enjoy doing. May not be for everyone:)

  20. I trust my diet that I’ve practiced on/off a few years now. I eat 1/2 cup special K cereal in the morning and a bit of unsweetened almond milk, black coffee, snack on a celery stick, lunch is 80 cal Greek yogurt, and dinner is 80 cal Greek yogurt. Drink as much water as I can. It keeps me full and I exercise about 75 minutes each day, with one break day per week. My only issue is with dizziness/numbness in my limbs occasionally..

  21. Thank god I found this. I’ve been so depressed about my weight lately, 5’5 and 150-some lbs. I am engaged to be married and I can’t stand the thought of my fiance ever seeing me without my clothes. I’ll be headstrong with the diet plan and I’ll have this to thank on my wedding day/night.

    1. Depending when your wedding is,I’ve found some fast routes for myself when it comes to special occasions. Everytime I’m hungry I have a glass of water or tea. Citrus teas or mulled apple are most satisfying for taste. Never wait til you’re super hungry because you will binge. Eat more earlier than later. For example. Start the day off with plain Greek yoghurt and some chia seeds or blueberries on top. Carry a small bag of carrots and celery with you on the go. That’s all you’re allowed, don’t enter food courts and best to avoid going out to eat. Drink water and teas in between or black coffees. Have an apple with a slice of turkey on days when you exercise more. Dinner stick to a hard boiled egg or half can of tuna, and spinach or broccoli. The only dip I use is yellow mustard for anything. Clean your house of all snack foods and high carb foods. Once a week I allow myself a glass of wine or champagne in the bath(cuz you gotta treat yourself). Find distractions!! Read, watch YouTube, organize things, do crosswords. Anything you can think of. Tell yourself “wow, I’m full” after every meal. On top of that, refer to pictures of skinny wedding models if that helps. Another thing is being naked as much as possible. Whenever I get the chance to wear as little as possible around the house I do because it makes me more aware of my body especially when I’m eating. There is always a point when you are losing weight that your body is like “whoa what’s happening!” And you will feel like making up for it with a huge meal. Don’t do that! If you are having an extreme sugar cravings drink the water and eat an apple if needed instead of a donut! Never use the words “I can’t” in any sentence. Think “I don’t eat that” or “I don’t do that” and say it out loud when you think of binging out and what not. Never risk being faint it means you will get mood swings etc. Just eat something small. This all works for me. Good luck!

    1. Plateaus like this are very common, most likely, the way to break it would be increasing exercise. That should get things moving again.

    1. I need a motivation buddy too! I’m on the right track, I workout a lot as I am a runner and do yoga(p.s. if anyone hates cardio do some yoga and work your way up) the muscle building from switching it up also helps your metabolism and alot of your calories will instantly be used for muscle rebuilding. Drinks lots of water and eat protein! I started having atleast two hard-boiled eggs a day and maybe a half can of tuna on a rice cake at dinner. I include spinach in my day and a little almond milk in my coffee. If I really need to I have 1/2 cup of baby carrots to nibble on and some tea in the afternoon. For a whole day it’s roughly 250-300 Cal’s but I feel satisfied and get the right nutrients for my body so I’m not moody.

      Back to needing a buddy, I do work alot of late nights as I manage a restaurant/bar, sometimes until 2am and the stress mixed with late night hunger gets to me. I want to learn to go to bed hungry. Anyone who can be available if I need help?

  29. If I have strong cravings, I will sometimes do things like putting raw cocoa or ground cinnamon on my tongue. Often I will do wall sits until I can’t move my legs to even go get food. Warm water works very well, as does tea. And if I ever want to spend money on food, I like to put it in a jar and once it adds up, buy myself something nice! Shoes are always a nice gift!

I have been creating a nutrient diet based on what the body needs to thrive, basically I eat only organic and I don’t eat meat, carbs, dairy, or sugar and I use probiotics and grapefruit juice to help clean my system out and boost metabolism. I drink 1and1/2 gallons of water a day and my best results were 15 lbs. In 6 days. I don’t count calories and it isn’t restrictive except for 1 fast day per week where I only drink juice and water. Seems to be making my skin healthier and clear, my hair and nails are healthier and my energy levels are great. I feel strong and not real hungry from the liquid intake.

      1. I also had the same problem :/ I couldn’t get the laxatives without my mom noticing.

        But then I realized: Being skinny won’t make you less ugly.

        The only way to be more beautiful is to:
        – Exercise (be good at a sport)
        – Eat vegetables at every meal
        – Use lotion on your face/neck/hands every night (I like burt’s bees or yes to grapefruit)
        – Be a kind person (try volunteering)

        You can also experiment with clothes and style and makeup.

  40. I used to be about 120-125. Through restriction I began to binge. Now I’m about 145. I’ve lost the ability to control my cravings. Whereas before I had mastered it perfectly. I feel like all the restriction has lead my body to store fat more easily than before. I also think I may now have an ulcer in my stomach (somewhere). This has caused too much damage to my body.

    I’m setting out to find a way to return to how I was without depriving myself too much. We all deserve to be thin and beautiful, but deprivation isn’t the way. You just end up being fat later in your life, because by starving, you train your body to make every bite count and preserve as much as it can. There has to be a better way. Does anyone agree or have any advice?

  50. so i used to do so well with not eating/rarely eating in high school and idk how. I used to just drink tons of water and only eat like 2 bites of each meal…and i was like 100-105lbs at 5’1. I stayed pretty thin even after I gave up the whole never eating thing. Ill tell myself that tomorrow Im gonna do it…but then tomorrow comes and I get hungry and say “fuck it”. I need to do this because I hate myself the way I am right now. Ugh

  59. Hey, Please remember when looking up ways to lose weight that muscle weighs more than fat. You can be skinny and unhealthy or slim and fit. Women can be super fit and weigh more than you think. The number on the scale is NOT the only thing to judge your progress by.

    Starving yourself without developing muscle will only hurt you in the end. Most people at one time or another deal with self image. I myself have and still do. You can read the horror stories online when someone takes losing weight to far. Please know that you are a valued human being.

    For me that does not mean I want to give up and gain weight but to know that I will make a healthy effort to love my body, lose weight at a healthy rate. I am not going to give up, I will work hard, BUT I will not hurt myself or my body in the process.

    Ways to lose weight at a healthy rate are Whole 30, Primal, Intermittent Fasting, low carb-high veg, and many more things. Many of the lifestyles listed above encourage moderate exercise, good rest, hydration, low crab intake, lots of veg and non processed food. Just because it is healthy does not mean it is expensive.   64. Hi there. I just wanted to try and help other people who can’t exercise due to injury/health issues/work scehdule etc. Or even if you can exercise. I lost 25 pounds in 1 month eating only 1 can on soup a day at night. No exercise. That was over 2 years ago, and never gained it back when switched to eating a higher calorie more balanced but still restricted diet. Also, last month I did the somewhat same (different food), but since starting at a much lower weight I didn’t lose as much, 1 bag of microwave popcorn (light) and 2 slices fat free cheese once a day a night, no exercise, and lost 20 pounds in 1 month. Now at 92 pounds where I am trying to maintain. I don’t know why but the only way I stick to losing weight is very low calorie diet. More than that and eating 3 times a day and I just binge?

You all need to get some help, seriously, there are other healthier ways to maintain a healthy body and improve your physique, you’ll never be happy with the body that you have with an eating disorder. Getting to eat whatever you please in moderation and exercising (etc weight training, females don’t have enough testosterone to be bulky, instead they will become more tone) and being able to enjoy other aspects of life is wayyy more pleasant than constantly worrying about losing as many calories as possible every second and still overall be unhappy. There is no such thing as a perfect body, millions of photos of models are photoshopped. Trying to look like these “photoshopped” images is an unrealistic expectation. A majority of models are self-conscious about their appearance no matter how “perfect” they seem on the outside. In the end, people are born with one body, learn to love it, work with what you have. Enhance what you already have without jeopardizing your health. Anorexia ages the body, slows your metabolism, and diminishes your beautiful curves.

    Recovery may be difficult, but make small goals to eat more each day will make the journey to recovery more tolerable. By eating and exercising properly, you will build strength and confidence overtime. Good luck everyone!

Okay so this is my first time, I’ve been trying diets all my life and even exercising but honestly I tolerate the diet part but I absolutely hate exercising, I can keep up with 30 min of running each day but I hate doing anything else than that. I am currently around 5’5 I’m 17 years old and I weigh 240 pounds, disgusting, I know. I mostly fail on diets because the outcome is really slow. I haven’t lost hope and now I am turning to the vegan diet or probably the 3/5 bites diet. I’ve been fat all my life and I really want to look rather good on prom, I want to wear a tight dress but with 240 pounds that isn’t possible, I’ve always been a girl with extremely low self esteem.   101. I have been struggling with my weight since I was 6 and I’m 16 now. I’m most definitely obese. My BMI is somewhere around 37 (approx. 248 lbs or 112 kg) and I’m 5’8.   104. Sarah- Love your self! The food is your way of trying to deal with an upset chemical system- you have been through so much and are doing so great by being clean!! Drug addictions are body addictions- you could try to replace w kind exercise, where you are giving yourself health and healing by moving your body, which might help you to skip a snack or two or to eat less at a meal. But don’t hate your body- it is your house and it has gone through pain and hurt- especially with a death in the family. Exercise can help regulate the chemicals in your brain a bit, but maybe you need an anti-depressant to help regulate your brain chemistry – at least for a bit. WHen you take a shower, tell yourself that you LOVE your body, because it is ALIVE!! Weight will come off when your system is back in kilter. But keep working your program (are you in 12 step yet like NARCANOn?) and try to incorporate some exercise. Peace and love to you :).
